Introducing Jim Beaver’s Livewire Ford Mustang Mach-E® Rally

Professional off-road racer and media personality Jim Beaver is pleased to reveal a custom Ford Mustang Mach-E® Rally build named Livewire. The vehicle debuted on Saturday, June 21 at Electrify Expo in Los Angeles and represents Beaver’s first official build of a Ford vehicle, a brand that he has raced for much of his career, as well as his first electric SUV.

Livewire showcases what Jim calls “The Ultimate Swiss Army Knife” of electric vehicles. It’s the ultimate expression of Jim’s outdoor lifestyle and is a vehicle that will transport himself and his gear to the local skatepark, ski resort, bike trail, or for a weekend overlanding trip or rallycross event. Through this build, Jim wants to showcase the potential of the Mustang Mach-E Rally as an adventure vehicle and demonstrate how it has become a key tool in his life.

“Out of all of the builds I have done, Livewire may take the cake,” said Jim Beaver. “I fell in love with the performance of the Ford Mustang Mach-E® Rally, and the capabilities the vehicle has. It truly is the total package, and I am beyond excited to work with Ford to showcase how an electric vehicle can truly make our lives easier without sacrificing fun. It may well be my ultimate content creating vehicle and it hands down is one of the most exciting vehicles I have ever driven.”

The Mustang Mach-E® Rally was designed to live on the tarmac and play in the dirt, making it the perfect electric vehicle for outdoor adventures. The SUV features electric all-wheel drive, produces 480 HP and 700 lb.-ft. of torque, and can go from 0–60 in 3.4 seconds. Other features include a Rallycross-Tuned MagneRide® Damping System, Rallysport Drive Mode, Brembo Front Brakes, and rally inspired grille, fog lights, front splitter, and rear spoiler.
