Fast Facts: Michigan’s annual race weekend moves from August to June, and with it comes the national ARCA tour. It marks a homecoming of sorts for this race, which was typically held in June back when the two-mile super speedway used to have two events per year. Winners of this race in the past two decades include current NASCAR Cup Series drivers Ty Dillon (2011), Chris Buescher (2012), Riley Herbst (2020), and Ty Gibbs (2021), as well as current NASCAR Xfinity Series Brennan Poole (2013), Brandon Jones (2016 and 17—the only repeat winner at the track since Tim Steele’s last win here in 2000), Sheldon Creed (2018), Nick Sanchez (2022), Jesse Love (2023), and Connor Zilisch (2024). Lavar Scott enters the race with a four-point lead over Brenden Queen and Lawless Alan.
