Event: RallyX of Germany
Location: Estering, Buxtehude, Germany

Fast Facts: The RallyX season wraps up at Estering with its second of back-to-back events to kick off the month of August. The former World RX venue boasts a strong entry list every year, with more than 100 names signed up for this year’s event—including an Open 2WD class that has expanded to the largest on the grid. Last week in Nysum, the First Corner FC2 took its first outright Open 4WD race win, with Casper Jansson scoring the historic victory in a 1-2 finish for Olsbergs MSE ahead of teammate Oliver Eriksson.

Event: Championship Off-Road Island Resort and Casino Off-Road Rumble in the U.P.
Location: Bark River International Raceway, Bark River, Michigan

Fast Facts: One of short course off-road racing’s most historic events outside of Crandon, Bark River represents Championship Off-Road racers’ last opportunity to tune up for Labor Day weekend. While CJ Greaves (Pro 4), Keegan Kincaid (Pro 2), and Owen VanEperen (Pro Stock SXS) hold formidable points leads in some of the top classes, VanEperen has only a single-point advantage over Jeb Bootle in Pro SXS, and Wyatt Miller is well within reach of points leader Chris Van Den Elzen in Pro SPEC. As for Pro Lite, Connor Barry has cut John Holtger’s points lead to 37 after winning last time out at Dirt City Motorplex despite a spectacular rollover from the lead.
